Chuo(KIDT-VTC MOSHI) kama sehemu ya Kilimanjaro Industrial Development Trust kiliaza kutoa mafunzo ya ufundi stadi mwaka 2000. Kimesajiliwa na Mamlaka ya Elimu na Mafunzo ya Ufundi Stadi (NACTVET).
Lengo la chuo ni kuandaa kizazi cha vijana wa Kitanzania, bila kujali jinsia wala dini, kupata elimu zaidi, elimu ya kiufundi kwa kiwango cha kitaifa na ajira endelevu. Ndiyo maana, tunafundisha ujuzi wa maisha na ujasiriamali katika kozi zetu zote.
Chuo kina uwezo wa wanafunzi 450, kwa sasa wanafunzi 120 wamesajiliwa (2024).
